This has been a CRAZY busy year. And while I tend to be a go-go-go type of individual, I wouldn’t mind if things slowed down a bit in 2015.
As the new year approaches, I thought I would do a little recap of this past year.
Here we go!
January
I decided to start digging deeper into my spiritual side. If you missed it, you can catch up here. It is something I have thought about for many years and this past year was the beginning of my journey.
February
My girlfriend and I went on our second annual girl’s getaway weekend to Portland and we had the BEST time. Shopping, eating, coffee, shopping, no agenda, coffee, wake up whenever, shopping, drinks, eat. Repeat. 🙂
March
Calvin John turned two and we had a choo choo train birthday party for him. I also hosted a Bachelor Finale viewing party at our house. Because I love The Bach. No surprise.
April
The talented Miss Mica Sansaver and I went on the crazy bunny excursion for an Easter Photo Shoot. And the results were AH-MAZING.
May
The Hubby graduated with his PhD in Finance! SO PROUD! Miss Gwyn also turned four and wehad a princess party for her. The Hubby and I took a couple’s vacation to Seattle as well to see Lady Gaga, but ultimately got burned.
June– Took a 14 hour road trip (There AND back) to Reno for the month to work on the business and see family, had another grad party in Reno for The Hubby and The Hubby got a permanent position as a professor!
July
We went to Twin Lakes for the 4th, Cal decided to potty train himself while The Hubby was gone rebuilding parts of our old home and we celebrated our 5th anniversary in Canada.
August
We bought a house! So we had a garage sale and moved into a temporary house with everything in storage for a month until our house was done. AND we sold our old house, too!
September
We endured the Crazy Kindergarten Campout, The Guncles got married and the whole family was a part of the wedding.
October– We moved into our new house! I became a Craigslist Master and we rocked Halloween.
November-Spent the majority of this month making projects and decorating our new house
December– Hosted the First Annual Holiday Scarf Exchange, Turned 30 and my best friend flew into Spokane with her husband to surprise me for the weekend. We then took our first family flight to Reno for the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by loved ones.
Thanks for taking this journey with me over the past year! On to 2015!
Awesome year, Shannon! Love to follow along with you! Beautiful family, beautiful momma! Looking forward to a great 2015! Sending my love to you always! Jana
