Now that we are settling into our new home and are putting things where they belong, it is clear where a few things are missing. Since we have waited to buy furniture and home decor until we were in a more permanent home, we have a blank slate to work with.
Which is awesome!
But, I want to take my time when decorating and find the right pieces, those which we will love for a long time. Below are my most recent finds from Craigslist. It feels AWESOME finding such amazing treasures for a fraction of the price. It just takes a little patience and persistence!
First, this antique metal cart on castors. Perfect by the front door, as a night stand, as a side table, bar cart, wherever, really! I am excited to style this piece and show you where it ends up.
Next. TWO Adirondack chairs perfectly shabbied up and already on our front porch. And the best part? They were $20 for BOTH! Now I just need a little side table for the middle.
And finally, four antique window frames…. FOR $15! PLUS, a few goodies thrown in for FREE! These are great for many uses and I am very excited to show you where they end up in our house!
The throw ladder is now complete! Thanks to a slightly strange foreign guy selling grandma’s crocheted blanket for $5.
We finally have nightstands! And for $20 a piece we couldn’t be happier with these industrial-esque goodies.
