7 Games for Your Next Party

March 11, 2025
These games are great for parties, youth groups, team dinners, or even just your next family game night. So many laughs, minimal prep, and low cost. What more could you ask for?!
1. Hoodie Balloon Bounce
Each team takes turns bouncing a balloon while quickly trying to put on a hoodie. If the balloon drops, that teammate starts over. Once the hoodie is on, the balloon can drop while removing it, and once it’s completely off the next teammate can begin. First team to finish, wins.
2. Post- It Pull
Each player starts with 4 post-its on their back. The goal is to swipe post-its from your opponent’s backs while trying to keep your own on. The last person with a remaining post-it wins.
Tip- we created boundaries to keep the game going
3. Blindfolded Cup Maze
Cups are sporadically placed on the ground, spanning about 10 feet. Teams must verbally guide a blindfolded teammate through the maze of cups. If the teammate touches a cup, they must start over.  The first team to reach the end wins.

4. Hungry Hungry Hippos

Each team has one small bowl for scooping balls, and one large bowl by the starting point. The goal is to push your teammate back and forth from the balls to your bowl, scooping up as many as possible and emptying them in the large bowl. Play continues until all balls are scooped, and the team with the most wins.
5. Human Tic-Tac-Toe
Each team is given a piece of colored paper (ours were green and yellow.) Teams stand on opposite ends and are given a number (1- however many are on each team.) A neutral party calls out three numbers, and those players race to the middle chairs that are set up like a Tic-Tac-toe board and try to be the first team to sit three in a row. Once complete, they raise their papers in the air to win.
6. Team Cup Stack Challenge
Each team of 4 pulls their strings, which are wrapped around a rubber band, cohesively to pick up cups and build a tower. First team to successfully build a 6 cup tower wins.
7. Caterpillar Crawl Balloon Race
First person runs to a table filled with balloons, grabs one, runs back, and sandwiches the balloon with the next player. They both then run to the table with arms in the air (no touching balloon!) and grab another for the next teammate. If a balloon drops, back to the start. First team to cross finish line wins.
Hope you have a great time!
