After trick-or-treating last year, my daughter asked me why we don’t decorate for Halloween.
“Uhhhhh…. I didn’t know anyone wanted to?!”
Halloween was never a holiday I previously decorated for. I didn’t own a single Halloween decoration and since it was never brought up, I just didn’t! I think I was more into focusing on decorating for the Fall season, but knowing that desire was there in my little ones changed things for me this year.
So while the kids were at school one day, my husband and I started decorating for Halloween and seeing their faces the moment they got home and laid their eyes upon their very own haunted house is a moment I truly hope to never forget.

I have to admit, I REALLY enjoyed decorating for Halloween this year and I think we’ve started a new tradition! Our kids are at the ages where Halloween is still really fun for them all, so I am trying to not only remember that but to relish in it, too.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
