Happy New Year, friends!!
How are you doing? Did you make it through the holidays okay? I will admit, I struggled a little bit! Everything included in the holidays can be a little overwhelming and I was feeling it.
BUT! It’s a new year, and a fresh start, and I am LOVING the thought of simplifying and organizing this year, and that all started with giving our mantle a fresh, simple, yet still wintery look.
One minute I am taking photos for this post and the next Bruce decides to cozy up by the fireplace. It was just perfect.
What do you think?
I have rounded up all of the sources if you, too, want to get this look! And because some of these things are DIY, I have included alternate sources that have the same look. I hope you enjoy!

So beautiful I have been looking for a mirror like that for a long time so this is perfect.
Bruce is awesome! I have two rottweilers who I love! The mantle looks great… so inviting. Thanks for sharing.

I wish I had a mantle, I would love to decorate it seasonally. I like those blue vases!
Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful! How creative to think of using the file folder to hold the logs, I never would have thought to do that! And those glass bottles are less than $6, what a steal!
lovely, it’s so cute!
So pretty! And extra cute with Bruce the model. And the holidays can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, I hear you
WOW this is gorgeous! I don’t have a fireplace, but I’ll use my piano as a substitute, heehee!
It is so clean and lovely looking! White mantles are so gorgeous.
I love the clean, fresh look of this, and your dog is a wonderful addition!
I don’t have a fireplace so no mantel here. This is so pretty though.
The Pompom garland truly brought the mantle look together – Can’t wait to try and make it myself!
