DIY Rosemary Wreaths

November 26, 2018

Hello, friends! The other day I was getting lunch in my fridge and noticed I randomly had a bunch of rosemary I wasn’t planning on using and thought, “how can I use this as decor?” since it immediately reminded me of Christmas.

Well, after digging through my craft supplies and finding some brown pipe cleaner, I deemed this the perfect little supply to make cute little wreaths out of!

These were SO easy to make, looked adorable on our table and smelled delicious!

Here is how to do it:

First, bend one brown pipe cleaner into the shape of a circle and secure the ends around each other.

Next, start wrapping a piece of rosemary around the pipe cleaner. It should stay on its own!

When you get to the end of one piece of rosemary, begin another. Each wreath should take 2-3 pieces of rosemary, depending on how long your rosemary sprigs are.

And that is IT! Can you believe it? These were so easy and I just thought they turned out so cute!

You could also string a handful of these through some string for a cute garland, too!

As always, thank you for stopping by!

  1. I like this! I tried making one. I have a huge rosemary bush, so I was able to use some twiggy branches and a small piece of twine instead of the brown fuzzy stuff.

However, in following your tutorial almost exactly, I felt a sense of exasperation when I was finished. I’m going to need to make a smaller door to hang my rosemary wreath on. And then what? A smaller house for the smaller door for the rosemary wreath. When does it end?

  2. These are so cute and look so simple to make! I actually adulted this year and made a beautiful tablescape for Christmas and these would be perfect to add for Christmas Eve dinner!
