The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays due to its simplicity. There is no planning for months, no shopping for gifts, and no STRESS. For us, it just means relaxing on the lake with family, eating tasty food, and a lot of water sports.
Because this holiday usually involves food, I have rounded up some of the tastiest breakfast, snack, meal and dessert ideas that are sure to please any crowd. Enjoy!

13. Oven Baked Ribs
I bought ribs on a whim this week while at Costco and cooked them according to this recipe. I didn’t make the sauce that this recipe uses, but think they would be even better than they were with it. I followed the directions and then just used the BBQ sauce that I had on-hand. Fall-off-the-bone good! And super easy to make if entertaining.

14. Grilled Chicken Fajita Kebabs
These just scream summer.
Fit Foodie Finds
15. Crispy Slow Cooker Carnitas
This recipe is delicious. SO, so good. I don’t add any of the peppers due to being a wimp, so know that they’re good without, too.

16. Taco Bowl with Avocado Lime Dressing
This is one of my go-to recipes when we have company for dinner. It takes a little more time than just grilling something but is a crowd PLEASER.

23. 4th of July Festive Cones
