Easy 4th of July Treat Ideas

July 2, 2016

I didn’t start truly loving the Fourth of July until we had kids. What used to be a party day with friends heading to the beach (don’t get me wrong, it was super fun) is now time at the lake with our family playing volleyball, skiing, rope swinging, fishing, tubing, playing hours of games, roasting marshmallows, setting off our own fireworks, going on moose hunts and so on. I look forward to this time all year. And when I can, I love making festive goodies to add to the enjoyment. Below are some treats that are completely doable, even last-minute, and do not require a lot of time, which is right up my alley. Enjoy!

Do you have any 4th of July traditions?

  1. What a great round up of 4th of July treats! It’s my favorite time of year for desserts (besides the Fall) because of the beautiful colors – red, white, and blue! 🙂

  2. Great ideas! I have made a ton of red, white and blue treats over the years and love finding new ones like these. I love the fruit skewers the best. They look amazing!
