The kids and I would go and visit The Hubby at work on occasion and it looked… well.. like a college student’s study area. What you don’t see in these photos are oatmeal boxes he so nicely cleaned up before our little visit.
Plain. Boring. Messy? All words I would use to describe the below before photos of his office. (Which are actually tidier than usual. Love you, Honey!)
I took some notes, some photos and a few measurements and I was a woman on a mission. For one of our date nights we went and checked out Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx and Target to get a feel for what they had. I also checked out a local shop for some chairs and shopped our own home as well. During our shopping date night The Hubby was pretty hesitant on some of my choices, but I assured him anything he didn’t like we could take back. And the results?

He LOVES it! Which makes me so happy. And this past week he has been the talk of the building with numerous people coming by to take a look. I guess having a comfortable, homey space to do one’s work isn’t the norm and since The Hubby’s office got a makeover there have been some changes being made in a few others’ offices as well.
And if you were wondering, nothing went back!

Last year my husband moved his studio, and had a new rebuild done. He and I did a whole new look, and he is loving it. So are his clients. 🙂
