The Fourth of July was spent at our family’s annual camping spot and it did not disappoint. In fact, seeing our kids experience things they had never done before was just perfection.
Gwyn, our little water babe, did not hesitate to get herself out on that tube and ride the waves! While her mama was yelling “slower, slower!” she was yelling “faster, faster!”
The cabin next-door had a little boy the same age as Gwyn and they immediately became best buds.
I sure enjoyed waking up to this every morning!
The kids went fishing for the first time and were quite into it! They even each caught a fish within minutes of each other making it a memory I will never forget! Pure excitement!
There was a TON of water play-time…
Yummy treats…
And we made our way to the only little restaurant near the area for our traditional huckleberry cobbler treat and played in the grass while we waited.
I visited one of these fireworks stands for the first time and was blown away. (Ooo! Pun not intended! At first… now it is…) Everyone round me knew how to order and I stood there with my mouth agape. Mind-blown.
Someone couldn’t get enough…
And for the big ones, watching from inside seemed appropriate.
One of the coolest things we did! Highly recommend!
The loud booming of the fireworks woke up the little one, and the older one was allowed to stay up and fell asleep!
And this little guy…. I mean… can we say Scuba Steve?
Thanks for stopping by!
( I won’t have a Bachelorette recap this week as I was spending time with this fine crew with no internet access, but tonight is the hometown date episode which is always a good one!)
Looks like you guys had a blast!

Hi! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you knw how to make
your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird
when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able
to resolve this problem. If you have any suggestions, please share.
Appreciate it!
