Easy Pizza Rollups in Fifteen Minutes

June 25, 2013

If the day has gotten away from me and I need to whip up something quick for my kids, I throw together these Pizza Rollups.

They take about three minutes to assemble and are ready in another eleven. Fifteen minutes and you’ve got something decent for the kiddos.

Both of  my kids enjoy these so I know they won’t go to waste.

Ingredients:

One can of crescent rolls (I buy the reduced fat kind)

1/4 cup marinara sauce (If I have homemade on hand, I use that from this recipe)

Pepperoni ( I use turkey pepperoni)

String Cheese, halved

Directions:

Unroll the crescent rolls on a greased (I use Pam) baking sheet, dab a teaspoon of pizza sauce on the wide area of the dough, top with 2-3 pepperoni and 1/2 of a string cheese. Roll up, securing all open holes and bake according to directions on the crescent roll can, just until lightly browned.

Done!

P.S. If I have hot ( turkey or chicken) dogs on hand, I will also roll up some of those as Gwyn enjoys those as well.
