Our baby girl is two. TWO!
Looking back at her journey through life, I choke down a lump in the back of my throat as the tears well in my eyes.
Every time.
It almost kindof hurts.
Granted I have just had a (nother) baby and am still extremely emotional, but my goodness, these tears are just a flowin’ and my mama emotions are cranked up, way up, especially today.

She. is. two.
She’s even losing her baby look, and is turning into a little girl.
I know everyone says it, but when did this happen? Just the other day we were sitting in the dark bathroom with the bath water running, trying to calm down our screaming baby. Just the other day she smiled at us, laughed with us, and used sign language to communicate with us, all for the first time. Just the other day she took her first steps and told us “I ove you.” And just the other day she started to carry on conversations and show us just how brilliant she really is. And a few days ago? She tinkled in the potty. And got REAL excited about it. And so did we.
Our little baby is now a young lady.
She couldn’t bring more joy, happiness and fulfillment into our lives. She is one of the best things that has ever happened to my husband and I, and we are honored to be her parents.
Not only all of that, but she really is a COOL little person! We often find ourselves staring at her in disbelief that she is really ours.
Happy 2nd birthday, sweet Gwyneth. We would give you the world if possible.
