The light fixtures you choose for the rooms in your home will illuminate your spaces and influence the appearance of other features, including the colors on your walls, furniture, and overall room decor. Needless to say, lighting is an important accent and can add so much character to a room. Below are a few of my favorite lighting sources that are in our home.
The sources with a little star next to them (*) are similar, but not the exact same as I either had them custom made, found them at an antique fair, or they’re sold out.

- These sconces come as a plug-in, but we cut the cord since, in our living room, they’re just for decoration and to fill an empty space. We will be hanging them soon!
- This is the new fixture I just got for our guest bathroom.
- These are our kitchen pendants over the island; they’re currently out of the black, which is why the gold is pictured. The ones we have are the 24″.
- The sconces in our kitchen
- The sconces in our living room on our built-ins
- The sconces we just got for the stair wall
- The sconces in our laundry room and my daughter has these in her room as well
- This pendant is similar to the one in our mudroom- the one I have I got at a vintage fair
- The lighting above the mirror in our master bathroom
- This chandelier is similar to the one in our living room- but the one we have I had made by a welder here in Spokane- to see how it was made, you can click HERE for that blog post. The original design is from Restoration Hardware, but I wanted to save money where I could, so I hired it out to be made. The one linked is cheaper than the RH one.
As always, thank you for stopping by!
