Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Her

Valentine’s Day has changed for me throughout the years. As a child, I loved waking up and finding a few fun treats my mom had left on the breakfast table for me. These usually consisted of a little box of chocolates and something fun or special, like a necklace or stuffed animal.

When I first started becoming interested in boys, Valentine’s Day turned into a day I hoped to receive a special Valentine from that certain boy.  But usually, that didn’t happen. In fact, I believe my “boyfriend” and I even broke up on Valentine’s Day in middle school and he carried that box of chocolate’s home with him under his arm while I probably went home and cried.

Ha! Ohhhhh middle school.

Let’s just say the holiday has gotten much better than those weird years since then, and now that I am a mom, I too enjoy spreading the love to my little family on this day. It doesn’t always mean gifts, though for our littles we usually have a special Valentine’s Day breakfast with goodies, but this year I did decide to get my husband a little gift after watching him use something broken in our household for about a year. The thing is broken! He uses it every week! I think it is time for a new one. And why not earn some brownie points and give this item as a gift, eh?
