I have officially consumed 25,000 calories at Disneyland and am feeling like I need to detox. But how could I resist those dang churros!? They’re SO good! So, when looking for recipes for this week, I searched for “detox meals” and the recipes below came up. I have NO idea what makes something actually “detox”- worthy, but these look delicious and if I tell myself I am doing something to help the cause then, well, I’ll feel better. Ha!
Monday
Dill Chicken Salad- Low Carb, Paleo
I LOVE dill and think this recipe looks great in a salad or in a whole wheat pita.

Date night! = Pigs in a blanket for the kiddos
Wednesday
Skinny Chicken and Avocado Caesar Salad
This. Looks. So. Dang. Good. I WANT IT NOW! I’m not sure if I will realistically make the homemade caesar dressing, so I may just use store-bought… but I bet the homemade tastes just fantastic. Hmm…

This looks like a total winner

I just never know…
I so know that feeling, especially today after a food fest weekend. Will have to give some of these a try- especially that yummy Skinny Chicken and Avocado Caesar Salad! YUM!
I made the salad last night and it was every bit as good as I was hoping! LEt me know if you try it!
I need to detox too. At least you have an excuse! I love lentils!
I’ve never done one! Hahaha and I NEED to!
This is a great menu! I never know on the weekends either, it’s like my planning mind turns off when I see the word ‘Friday.’
They all look delicious!!! I am away this week “kind of” on holiday too and keep reminding myself that just because there is so much bacon and eggs available at breakfast, doesn’t mean I have to eat it all… I did make sure to have some fruit and yoghurt and buy some nuts for snacks too, I’m hoping that will help ease the daily bacon and egg guilt!
Gosh, you’re good! I eat eggs and sausage just about every day! Ha! Hmmmm…. Maybe I Should rethink things…
That salad looks amazing!! I will need to try that this week for my husband and I!!
You MUST! It is SO good!
Love this, especially the Dill Chicken Salad. My weekends are always up in the air too, I never know what will end up in my mouth lol.
