With this being our third and final baby, this means it is my third and final pregnancy. Never again will I go through something I had been waiting so many years to experience. (Insert ugly cry face.)
With my first two pregnancies, I kept a pregnancy journal. I wanted to be able to look back over the years and remember exactly what it was like. I also wanted to be able to gift the journal to my child as a special keepsake, hoping maybe one day he or she would enjoy it as much as I.
With this being my third and keeping pretty busy with my two littles, I was afraid the weeks would go by and I would soon forget what this last pregnancy was like. And since it had been a while since I was last pregnant, I completely forgot to even get a new journal until I came across this lovely from Collette Sutton at Paperlust Studio.
The cover choices are classy and beautiful, making it difficult to choose. But, being that this journal and I are on this journey together for the next several months, I chose the one that stood out to me most from the beginning.
Collette has several design options to choose from, all simply beautiful.
With weekly updates, I am reminded to document my thoughts, the highlights from the week, how I was feeling, what I was craving and whatever else I would like to share either in the notes section or on the blank page to the left. I like to use that space for mementos, though, like belly update and ultrasound photos.
I saved the prayer request card that I announced my pregnancy with to my bible study group, and the reaction once it was read aloud was a memory I will never forget. So, in the journal it went!
So, don’t worry, sweet third baby… I haven’t forgotten about you! I am up-to-date with your entries and going strong. Only 25 more weeks to go!
And today, Collette is offering one lucky reader one of her beautiful Paperlust Studio journals! Perfect for expecting mothers, to give as a gift, or to hold onto for any future pregnancies. She has every-day journal options, too! Enter below!
