A Special Little Treasure Hunt

We’ve been visiting my parents the last few weeks and while here they’ve done some pretty fun things with the kiddos, including this very thought-out and adorable treasure hunt.

All areas of my parents’ back and front yard.

 

The treasure map magically showed up  in the mailbox one morning…

And from there the kiddos followed the clues leading them to various destinations around the yard where a small treasure was found at each one, all leading up to the buried treasure.

This little girl was beyond-herself-excited about the whole thing and ran from each destination to the next squealing the whole way.

And Cal had a great time following the blur of his sister and finding treasures as well.

And of course, x marks the spot.

 

And the treasure inside was just perfect for two little treasure-hunters. Money, jewels, jewelry and matchbox cars, of course.

Very happy!
