This has been a CRAZY week. CRAZY I tell you! The Hubby and I went down to Seattle on Wednesday for a post-graduation celebratory Lady Gaga concert with some friends, and ON THE WAY to the concert I receive an alert email that it has been postponed.
Awesome.
But, we made the best of it and went to a fun spot with a great view for appetizers and drinks and then another incredibly delicious spot for dinner.
Then the rest of the night us old folk went back to our friend’s house and the men played outdoors by the fire pit and the girls watched a Lifetime movie.
Pretty perfect in my book.
We then hit up Pike’s Place Market the next morning for a while before heading home. We were total tourists, and I loved it.
One thing I love about this man is that he always holds my hand.
If you’ve ever been to the market in downtown Seattle you know they have THE BEST flowers, for cheap. This bouquet…. $10. Ten freaking dollars! I just can’t get over that.
We may or may not have gotten a treat or two…
And tried on silly hats while souvenir shopping for the little ones before having lunch and heading home.
We then had one day to pack up the family, deep clean the house and get things in order to be gone for a month to my hometown, a nice fourteen hour drive, but we did it!
And I have to say, the trip was smooth sailing. At about hour eleven, though, some of us started getting a little bit of the road trip crazies…
We are also in the process of doing something big… I’ll keep you updated soon!
Thanks for stopping by!
Ok, this is awesome! Oh, and we totally saw Lady GaGa this past weekend in Cali!! She was just walking around the resort we were staying at, all by her lonesome!
Ugh, jealous! She totally bailed on us! The make-up concert is in August, I hope we can make it!
