The World’s Toughest Job

Yesterday was one of those days where nothing seemed to go right. Someone was unhappy at all times of the day and when I wasn’t pulling my own hair out, I may have shed a tear or two and questioned my abilities as a parent.

For the first time I left a store without the items I came for and my continual prayer for patience just didn’t seem to be enough.

As I was laying in bed last night feeling pretty beat, I decided to watch one last little video before I went to sleep.

And I am so glad I did.

This video had me falling asleep in my own puddle of tears.

It was just what I needed to end the day I would like to put behind me and forget about.

I am posting the video this morning as a reminder that there are going to be tough days. There are going to be awful days. But there are going to be fantastic days and rewarding days. Unforgettable days and joyous days.

As stated, the job never ends. But it is a job most people wouldn’t trade for any other. Myself, included.
