What We Wore

January 22, 2014

I have been doing the What I Wore posts for a little while now and have found that I have started to take notice to fellow mamas/ladies who have put together a nice outfit even more. And after talking to a very stylish mama this past weekend at a birthday party, she suggested I find a way for other mamas/ladies to showcase what they’re wearing as well!
Hello! Brilliant! YES! (Thanks, Rachael!)
Sometimes I think “What’s the point if I am not going anywhere today?” The answer is that YOU guys keep me accountable! And I want to see what YOU are wearing, too! So, if you are feeling up to throwing on that cute scarf or showing us how you layered your look today, then snap a quick pic of yourself, hop on Instagram and share using the hashtag #Ladysladies. My Instagram is Ladyslittleloves and I would just LOVE to see what you’ve got going on!
I know, trust me, it is AWKWARD. I still feel super weird taking a selfie in my own mirror. But, my three-year-old is good at cutting off half the body, so for now it’s my best option.  SO, just get over it knowing people WANT to see what cute outfit you are wearing! I do! I am always looking for new ideas and what better way than you ladies out there? Show me what you’ve got!!! Want to showcase your kiddos, too?! DO IT!!!

Worn for a day out with the family, including house hunting.
Crochet Sweater– Target. I Looooooooooove this sweater! It is long in the back which allows it to be worn with leggings and the crocheted sleeves and back gives it the perfect feminine touch.
(Faux) Leather Jacket– Target- RUN over to Target as they have these babies on clearance right now! I scored this baby for $20 and I am loving this jacket paired with a more feminine top. What do you think?
Leggings Lululemon– These are must-haves. I wear them to workout and I wear them with outfits. Such a versatile item! I fold the flap over, as I like pants to sit lower, which is not pictured in the image on the site.
Boots-Macy’s
Necklace– Groopdealz.com

Military Jacket– Milk and Honey. Ahem. This jacket…. I am just going to say it… is bomb.com. I kid you not. It goes with just about anything, is easily worn open or tied shut and the sweater back is to. die. for. It’s just cool. It just is.
Mustard tunic– Burlington Coat Factory
Leggings– Lululemon

I had a pretty tough week with the kiddos, thus not capturing many photos. It was more about surviving! Here’s to a better week!
Don’t forget to hop on Instagram, you can find me here, and use the hashtag #Ladysladies.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Fun blog you have! We are at a different phases in life (I am working full-time, kids 14 and 17, cat and a dog and a “semi-retired” bass playing hubby) but I do enjoy reading your fun blog. Cherish the “giblets” and home life….it’s a tap on a shoulder and you will be looking for colleges!

    1. Yes, we certainly are at different phases, and your mentioning of college made me shudder!! Can’t I require they never go away to college?? 🙁 Thank you for saying hello, Pia!

  2. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and
was curious what all is required to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly
    appreciated. Cheers
