Our baby girl, Gwyn, turned three-years-old today. As every parent claims, it just seems unreal.

These months… these years… have flown by. She is no longer a baby anymore. She doesn’t have that baby look anymore. She doesn’t wear diapers anymore. She doesn’ t sleep in a crib anymore. These things have all happened so quickly and I didn’t really see the transition coming. She just all of a sudden became a little girl.

With an opinion!

I am a mother to a little girl. For some reason I still consider myself a “new mom.” I just don’t feel like I have been doing all of this for too long and I still don’t quite feel like I know what I am doing most of the time.

But, time continues forward and I am trying to savor each stage of childhood to the best of my ability.

Our Sweet Gwyn has become a strong, independent, beautiful little girl.

She loves to swing, take walks, ride her bike and play at the park. She loves ice cream, gummies, fruit and ketchup. She loves Cinderella, Dora, fairies and Minnie Mouse. She loves her family, friends, Teacher Erica and pups, Sammy and Emma.

She dislikes going to bed, going to time-out, going home and going poop. She dislikes most dishes with beef, salad without ranch,…uuhhhhh…She dislikes “Cougar the Butch, (college mascot)” “boring” TV (Daddy’s show), the Easter Bunny and strange people.

She is constantly making us laugh, impressing us with her intelligence, and showering us with love. We are proud to be her parents and couldn’t have been more blessed with a wonderful daughter.

Though I could do without the occasional public tantrum. That’s just embarrassing. 🙂

Happy third birthday, Gwynnie Girl!
