I am going to tell you a story.
A few nights ago I was at the grocery store doing a little child-free shopping and once finished I headed for the shortest line to check out. A few seconds after I chose my line a young man got in line behind me. I glanced over my shoulder and noticed the only items he had were in his arms, so I offered to let him go in front of me.
Stuttering a bit, he asked me if I was sure, in which I replied “of course” and he slowly made his way ahead of me.
He didn’t just set his items down on the conveyor belt though, as expected.
Instead, he tried to stack them in such a way that the bottom item could not be identified. This proved a little difficult to do in a smooth manner, thus drawing even more attention to what he was doing.
This is what the young man in front of me was buying that night.
!!!!!
That would be condoms, lotion and…. gloves!?!?
As soon as I saw this I whipped out my phone, turned it on silent and took a picture, trying my best not to let him see me. And as the person ahead of him took forever to check out I couldn’t help but think, “Why did this guy not buy other items to cover these things up!? Or, why didn’t he use the self checkout line!? Or why not just HOLD the items until it was his turn?
Anyway, not judging!
