DIY Fabric Cone Trees

December 21, 2012

These fabric cone trees are soooo easy to make and I just love the way they look. I made them last year for Christmas and was done in maybe thirty minutes from start to finish…. while watching a TV show. If I were to make them again, though, I think I would do them in different shades of burlap and embellish with lace and maybe some little jingle bell strands. .

There’s always next year!

Materials
Cardboard cones or card stock and tape
Fabric of your choice-only about a square foot per cone (depends on the size of cones you choose)
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Embellishments
Candle sticks

Directions:
You can either buy pre-made cardboard cones from a craft store, like Michaels, or fold a piece of card stock into the shape of a cone and tape to hold.

I bought these…

Then, use a piece of fabric and hot glue them to the cones and embellish as desired. There’s really not much else to say! They’re THAT easy!

I bought these candle sticks at a thrift store and loved the color, so I didn’t need to paint them and they worked perfectly.

Happy Friday! Hope your day is going better than ours.

Poor Baby Cal is sick. 🙁
