When The Hubby and I went to our twenty week ultrasound to find out what we were having while pregnant with Gwyn, I was extremely excited and nervous at the same time. How was I going to react? What if I don’t react like I “should”? Would this reveal what I was really hoping to have, but didn’t know it yet? Would I feel let down?
Well as soon as the technician revealed that we were having a girl, I broke down in tears. And there was my answer. They were extremely excited, happy, relieved tears. In disbelief tears. Disbelief that we were actually going to have a daughter tears.
In the back of my mind, there are certain things I have always wanted to do with a daughter. And recently, Gwyn and I had a “Girly Moment” and painted our tootsies together. She was beyond excited to be doing such a “grownup” activity, and we really made a big deal out of it.

Daddy came home and she couldn’t WAIT to show him her new tootsies.

And then Grammy came over and Gwtn wouldn’t even let her in the door before showing them off.
So as a special treat, that same week we went to the store to pick out her very own nail polish.
She chose hot pink with sparkles.
And she hasn’t stopped looking at them since!
Girl time is just SO much fun!
