Yahoo!<\/p>\n<p>And no, Gwyneth is NOT going with me&#8230; this Mama is flying solo!\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/us.123rf.com\/400wm\/400\/400\/luislouro\/luislouro1011\/luislouro101100095\/8239368-pregnant-woman-jumping-in-a-green-field.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I just pictured myself galloping through the airport because my husband believes in getting there JUST in time to catch the flight; 8 1\/2 months pregnant; arms full of \u00a0a 30 pound toddler yelling for more &#8220;fish!&#8221; crackers and luggage;\u00a0hurriedly\u00a0trying to check in while keeping said toddler in tow; going through security in a full drench from trying to corral my belongings and again, rambunctious toddler; being pulled aside and given the pat down since I am OBVIOUSLY carrying dangerous explosives and weapons under my shirt,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_jizSXMd6Xk4\/TO4E8D4tTmI\/AAAAAAAABbA\/YInOqOoCSW0\/s200\/airport_xray_scanner1.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"165\" \/>\u00a0in which I end up biting the lady&#8217;s head off and not regretting it later; barely making it to my gate, still sweating; receiving pity looks from the other passengers as we try to squeeze down the aisle bumping (or kicking) every other tray, shoulder, or head; entertaining Gwyn on the flight while apologizing to the other passengers for the\u00a0repetitious &#8220;Itsy Bitsy Spider&#8221; medley and jabs to the back of the seat,\u00a0etc., \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sabotagetimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/babies-on-planes_450.jpeg\" width=\"200\" height=\"128\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nightmare! Ugh, I get anxiety just <i>thinking<\/i> about it.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, I picture myself \u00a0arriving to the airport an hour early; leisurely checking in while joking around with the check-in lady about how I am almost too pregnant to fly and I&#8217;d better not &#8220;cause any trouble up there;&#8221;\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mobal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/checkindesk.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"148\" \/>leisurely strolling\u00a0through security while playing Words With Friends and chatting with the nice pat-down lady about why I am heading to Reno\u00a0a midst\u00a0chuckles about the growing belly; grabbing a latte at Starbucks, and even tipping extra because of the super-friendly service I received; picking up an Us Weekly and some fruity Mentos to indulge in before the flight; standing in line BEFORE my &#8220;A&#8221; group seating is called, just because I can; and possibly grabbing a nap on the flight over, in which I am even given a pillow and blankey to keep comfortable with;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn3.google.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRvanfcDQGLw5rlJHVmld_y785ylVSrf4TIcRzQLcFwqxzEwq6E\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/>\u00a0then landing and having someone offer to carry my luggage for me since I could probably use the help!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/image1.masterfile.com\/em_w\/01\/12\/48\/600-01124884w.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dreamy? Oh yes.<\/p>\n<p>While I am sure reality will be somewhere in the middle of these two scenarios, I think a weekend with my family and friends is going to do this lady some good.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>On the flip-side, this means the hubby is going to be caring for our precious little daughter&#8230;. alone. No one else there to make dinner, do dishes, clean up toys, change diapers, entertain, and everything else we mamas do.\u00a0While I am leaving with all the laundry done, food stocked up, and house cleaned to help out as much as I can, I can&#8217;t help but worry. Not that my husband can&#8217;t handle it, because I am fully confident that he can and that they will actually have a fabulous time together, but just because that is what I do. I worry and create horrible &#8220;what if&#8221; scenarios in my mind.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/encrypted-tbn1.google.com\/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSYGBC7XjQthbG4c1JiYOuoWdPcYgcUrNUNzJ4dGs9WDDRtQmgpmA\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wish me (us) luck!<\/p>\n<p>Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am leaving today for Reno for my baby shower!
