These healthy granola bars are SO easy to make, taste the bomb.com, and I feel good about giving them to my family! Or eating the majority of them myself…..<\/p>\n
Here is the\u00a0original recipe<\/a>\u00a0and below is the adapted recipe that I made with my alternatives.<\/p>\n Ingredients:<\/b> Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n 3.\u00a0Make a well in the center, and pour in the honey\/agave, egg, oil and vanilla.<\/span><\/p>\n 4. Mix well!! Then add in dried fruit and chocolate chips.<\/p>\n I did most of this with one hand, as the other arm was holding this bundle of joy.<\/p>\n 5.)<\/span>\u00a0Pat the mixture evenly into the prepared pan. ( I had to put him down for this step.) \u00a0\ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 6. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bars begin to turn golden around the edges.<\/span><\/p>\n
\n2 cups rolled oats
\n1\/2 cup brown sugar
\n1\/2 cup ground flax seed
\n1 cup of flour (The second time I made these I used wheat flour and couldn’t taste a difference!)
\n3\/4 ts ground cinnamon
\n3\/4 ts kosher salt
\n1\/2 cup honey (I used agave the second time, worked great!)
\n1 egg, lightly beaten
\n1\/2 cup vegetable oil (I used 1\/4 cup the second time and hardly noticed a difference!)
\n2 ts. vanilla extract
\n1 cup dried fruit (I used a mix of cherries, cranberries and blueberries)
\n3\/4 cup chocolate chips<\/p>\n
