In fact, I remember a woman once saying to my mom, &#8220;What a cute little boy you have!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thanks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Just a boy in his leotard, here.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-qiUl-00pCrY\/UAcBqJKBpmI\/AAAAAAAADS8\/mi4TtASSRTc\/s320\/SCAN0011.JPG?w=1140\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span>When Gwyn was a baby, she could be wearing pink everything with a gigantic bow on her head, and every now and then I&#8217;d hear something like, &#8220;What a big\/cute\/sweet boy you&#8217;ve got there!&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>And in my mind I&#8217;d be thinking, &#8220;Really!?!? Are you on crack!?&#8221; But\u00a0<\/span><span>I&#8217;d just smile or sometimes reply, &#8220;Yeeeeeep.&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In fact, she was wearing this exact outfit when called a boy one day&#8230;<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-37cHOuMJ-HI\/UAb3ufCILKI\/AAAAAAAADSI\/TJ_nUrLbhek\/s1600\/SAM_1080.JPG\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-37cHOuMJ-HI\/UAb3ufCILKI\/AAAAAAAADSI\/TJ_nUrLbhek\/s320\/SAM_1080.JPG?resize=240%2C320\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>And this is what we thought about that!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" align=\"center\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-w5CFX8ObN94\/UAb4gLLO_pI\/AAAAAAAADSQ\/buoo0bp2aYg\/s1600\/SAM_1073.JPG\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-w5CFX8ObN94\/UAb4gLLO_pI\/AAAAAAAADSQ\/buoo0bp2aYg\/s320\/SAM_1073.JPG?resize=240%2C320\" width=\"240\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>&#8220;I&#8217;m not a boy!&#8221;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span>I now never say anything if I am just not sure what gender a child is.
