No summer decor means empty space. Empty space means NEW space for Fall decor. Fall decor means burlap. Hmmm&#8230;.How about a burlap wreath!? Exactly what I was thinking!!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I came across a burlap wreath on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ohmywordblog.blogspot.com\/2010_03_01_archive.html\">this<\/a>\u00a0blog and decided to take a stab at making my own. So, here&#8217;s how mine came out and below is what I did!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-Yg25brx1mPE\/UE00-iGHQ7I\/AAAAAAAAEXo\/0JErG0FWCcY\/s320\/DSC06643.JPG\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Supplies\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div>Wire hanger<\/div>\n<div>2 ten foot rolls of pre-cut burlap (I found these at Michaels)<\/div>\n<div>1\/2 yard of light burlap or fabric of choice for bow (there will be leftover!)<\/div>\n<div>Safety pin or hot glue<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Bend your wire hanger into a circle. This is the best I could do without getting pliers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-1UWK5C-0S3k\/UE0xlyhYz4I\/AAAAAAAAEWo\/WnpFcwVvelk\/s1600\/DSC06612.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-1UWK5C-0S3k\/UE0xlyhYz4I\/AAAAAAAAEWo\/WnpFcwVvelk\/s320\/DSC06612.JPG\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>Take your \u00a0first roll of burlap and unravel.<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-pr0R9sJSrUg\/UE0z1tmv0TI\/AAAAAAAAEXQ\/gCIE8AMOpfQ\/s320\/DSC06618.JPG\" \/><br \/>\nThen weave the wire in and out&#8230;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-zv_6EZtr-OE\/UE0yDyUXa-I\/AAAAAAAAEWw\/u55actN6iM4\/s1600\/DSC06613.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-zv_6EZtr-OE\/UE0yDyUXa-I\/AAAAAAAAEWw\/u55actN6iM4\/s320\/DSC06613.JPG\" width=\"212\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>And scrunch together!<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-aKSfR_QCCCk\/UE0yh-BCEjI\/AAAAAAAAEW4\/BBqaj3oWHrk\/s1600\/DSC06614.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-aKSfR_QCCCk\/UE0yh-BCEjI\/AAAAAAAAEW4\/BBqaj3oWHrk\/s320\/DSC06614.JPG\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-HcjhSw3RH70\/UE0y-3AG6qI\/AAAAAAAAEXA\/X4-pf31pCJ8\/s1600\/DSC06615.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-HcjhSw3RH70\/UE0y-3AG6qI\/AAAAAAAAEXA\/X4-pf31pCJ8\/s320\/DSC06615.JPG\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>This is how much one roll will cover&#8230;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-e9VTiW0THx8\/UE0zbNI2LPI\/AAAAAAAAEXI\/YyPBjd5ycqI\/s1600\/DSC06616.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-e9VTiW0THx8\/UE0zbNI2LPI\/AAAAAAAAEXI\/YyPBjd5ycqI\/s320\/DSC06616.JPG\" width=\"320\" height=\"212\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>And I ended up using both rolls for my wreath.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Then, try your best to twist the wire back together on the circle, closing it up. I then cut about a 5&#8243; strip of light burlap from the 1\/2 yard that I purchased and made a bow and attached it with a safety pin. I also cut another 3&#8243; strip to hang the wreath from the top of my door.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>That&#8217;s IT! And when my Hubby saw it hanging on our door, he said, &#8220;I like it. It&#8217;s very&#8230;. earthy. It looks recycled.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I <i>THINK<\/i>\u00a0he meant well. Haha.<\/p>\n<p>Happy Tuesday!<\/p>\n<p>P.S.- Michaels always has coupons out, so make sure to either print one and bring with you, or pull one up on your phone and show it to the clerk to get a 40-50% discount on one item. This saved me a few bucks on my burlap bundles. Go to Michaels.com and find the &#8220;coupons&#8221; tab and they will be located there.
