It was easier than I thought it would be, so I tried two different recipes to see if there was any difference. Both recipes came from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fun.familyeducation.com\/sculpting\/recipes\/37040.html\">this<\/a>\u00a0website, and one definitely worked better than the other.<\/p>\n<p>For the first batch we made the &#8220;Colored Playdough&#8221; recipe. (Winner!)<\/p>\n<div><b>Colored Playdough<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Materials<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup water<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon cream of tartar<\/li>\n<li>Food coloring<\/li>\n<li>Saucepan<\/li>\n<li>1 cup flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Directions<\/b><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine water, oil, salt, cream of tartar, and food coloring in a saucepan and heat until warm.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and add flour.<\/li>\n<li>Stir, then knead until smooth.
