Somehow I have managed to cower in the corner during this portion of the appointment every time and don&#8217;t actually have to be the one holding the child, as thankfully The Hubby takes this duty on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image (10)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-10-225x300.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;d just like to give The Hubby a little shout-out right now as he has been to every single one of these check-ups. For BOTH kids. AND, including all of my appointments when I was pregnant. BOTH times.<\/p>\n<p>I find that incredibly impressive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After Gwyn got her one-year shots a few years ago we took her to Cougar Country for her first ice cream cone, so we only saw it fitting to do the same after Cal&#8217;s appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Cal and The Hubby shared his first cone&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-13.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1696\" alt=\"image (13)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-13-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, he was a fan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-14.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1697\" alt=\"image (14)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-14-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-15.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1698\" alt=\"image (15)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-15-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ooo cold!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-16.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1699\" alt=\"image (16)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-16-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And Gwyn and I shared a cone as well.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image (21)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-21-225x300.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Though she did a little less sharing&#8230;.&#8221;Gee, thanks, Gwyn!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-17.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1700\" alt=\"image (17)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-17-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-20.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1703\" alt=\"image (20)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-20-225x300.jpeg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image (19)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-19-225x300.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Washing it down<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image (18)\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/image-18-225x300.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These little moments are what I have been waiting for my whole life.
