As much as I enjoy watching the little man he is turning into, I really just want to hold on to these younger years while I can. Over the weekend we celebrated this little boy with a dinosaur birthday party. Calvin is obsessed with donosaurs, so when my husband came across these dino tails, he insisted that we have them and boy, was he right. These boys LOVED swinging their tails around at one another! Dino tails found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/125326802111215865\/\">HERE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14330 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image3-4.jpg\" alt=\"image3\" width=\"376\" height=\"501\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When I randomly came across these dino hats at the Dollar Store, I knew they would accompany the tails perfectly. \u00a0Hats can also be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/125326802111215851\/\">HERE\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14333 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image4-2.jpg\" alt=\"image4\" width=\"380\" height=\"507\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I love making treats for parties as they double as decor! They took their egg and excavation tool (golf tee) and went outside to dig the prize out in a kiddie pool to contain the mess. \u00a0(Hint- buy the baking soda from Costco, the whole bag will make about 15-17 eggs.) If you want to make them a little harder, bake them at 350 for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14383 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image4-5.jpg\" alt=\"image4\" width=\"361\" height=\"481\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Working hard! And I just love those little tails! I realize my days where these kiddos will willingly dress-up are numbered, so I was super pleased to see them enjoying them so much.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14358 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image3-copy-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"image3 copy 2\" width=\"350\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14370 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image12-1.jpg\" alt=\"image12\" width=\"355\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The kiddos then went on a dinosaur egg hunt- printable found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/125326802111215770\/\">HERE<\/a>. Tip- definitely use bags with handles AND write each kiddos&#8217; name on the bag. (Volcano paper mache tutorial <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/125326802111215764\/\">HERE<\/a>. This was a great project the kids and I did together.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14357 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image16.jpg\" alt=\"image16\" width=\"322\" height=\"430\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I did the typical baking soda, vinegar, dish soap experiment&#8230; which while cool, did not even come close to what my husband did next. Thank goodness I went first!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14347 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image11-copy.jpg\" alt=\"image11 copy\" width=\"335\" height=\"447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The next experiments blew their little minds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14349 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image12-copy.jpg\" alt=\"image12 copy\" width=\"332\" height=\"348\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Who knew Mentos and Diet Coke could do this? Tutorial <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/ladyslittleluvs\/dinosaur-birthday-party\/\">HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14332 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/livingwithlady.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/image4-copy.jpg\" alt=\"image4 copy\" width=\"347\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And while I wasn&#8217;t able to capture a photo of the next experiment, my husband put some Mentos in a full Diet Coke bottle and sealed it up.
