I never thought I would have booger boobs. Ever.I didn’t even know booger boobs existed before yesterday. But they do.

Baby Cal has a cold.

And when he got up from his nap he was quite furious and quite snotty and instead of wiping his nose I just nursed him to make the fury go away.

As expected, the boogers were like an accordion of stringy, sticky glue from his nose to my chest and I was nowhere near a Kleenex so there they stayed.

But that wasn’t really the icky (iest) part.

That has all happened before.

What was shuddering was when I discovered the dried boogers a few hours later. I had forgotten to wipe them off earlier, thus having booger boobs for a good chunk of the day.

I will spare you the details in how they looked. Though I can’t get the image out of my mind.

Just know that I shuddered and gagged. Like, tongue out gagged.

So, while I am sure there will be more snotty nursing sessions in the future, I will be SURE to keep a tissue on-hand from now on.

Here’s to no more booger boobs!

Motherhood at its finest.
