Our pup, Bruce Willis, turned two yesterday and the only thing the kids wanted to do was to throw him a birthday. We had done it the year before as per their request, so in keeping up with the tradition, we decided to do it again and it is something I think will be a fond memory for them all for years to come.
I searched Pinterest a bit for the recipe I was going to use to make his cake and landed on this one, though I did alter it a bit. Below is what I did!
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
2/3 cup honey
2 eggs
Frosting
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup peanut butter
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except the frosting ingredients) together and evenly pour into two greased 8″ cake pans and bake each one for appx. 13-16 minutes. In my oven, they took 14 minutes and I cooked these separately.
Then, mix the frosting ingredients together and once the cakes are completely cooled, frost.
Our pup seemed to like his cake, though we didn’t let him have too much. Enjoy!
Happy birthday Bruce Willis 🥳 This recipe sounds like a winner. Looks like it was a great party 🎉
