My bestfriends husband took his life 9 yrs. ago. She has raised 3 children, they are all successful adults now. I was amazed by her strength everyday. My husband had been killed suddenly in an accident and because the losses we both had suffered we formed a bond. We have always been there for each other through the years. Thank you for sharing your story. I lost my Dad almost 9 years ago. I was 36 and a part of me died that day too. It was sudden and I didn’t get to say goodbye. It doesn’t get easier, just manageable.
You are an amazing lady and are leaving such a great hand print in this world.

I’m glad you linked it from IG, as I only recently found you there. Your story is a such a powerful reminder of the depths and darkness of depression.

The very worst of my depression began during my 4th pregnancy. Your story reminded me how I thought my kids and husband would be better without me. I was wrong even if I didn’t know it at the time.
I’m so grateful to still be here with my 4 boys and husband.
