With our daughter and second son, we waited until at least four months to start solids. With my middle child, we waited three months and three weeks, and got the okay from our pediatrician as he was a pretty big baby. We started with rice cereal and breast milk with the first two. With our third we did the same, but moved to veggies sooner than we did with the other two.
All three of our babes slept in our room until about 4 months before we started the sleep-training. And once we did this, we moved them to their own rooms. I hope this helped!

And what sorts of solids did you start with? I’m not quite a momma yet, due in November but I already know I want to sleep train my babe and am always looking for advice! Thank you for this post 🙂

Ps, did you have any of your kiddos sleep in your room with you for a couple months before transitioning to their cribs? Just curious how long after transitioning you can start sleep training or if it’s easier to start the babes off in their cribs from the beginning!
