As you all know we recently moved. And we were a part of a big, fabulous wedding. And we endured The Kindergarten Camp-out.
It’s no surprise when I tell you things have been a little crazy over here.
Packing up our home and living out of boxes for a month left us living minimally, which honestly was kind-of nice! But now that we are in the unpacking stages of the new home, juggling the kids’ every day lives while trying to put things away has proven difficult. Boxes are crawled into, items are misplaced, things put away are taken out once again. And again. And again.
Distractions have been key recently and thanks to the team at Vtech, we were given the opportunity to try out the V-Tech InnoTab 3 Plus, which couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. (Enter below to win one of your own!)
When the InnoTab 3 Plus first arrived we were packing for the wedding. While Cal napped, Gwyn and I sat down and perused the device for about ten minutes before she discovered what it could do and quickly wanted to take over herself.
Her favorite feature, the 180* rotating camera, allows one to choose backgrounds, faces, costumes, props, etc. to take photos with and Gwyn just thought this was the most amazing thing she had ever seen. The ENTIRE time I packed our whole family she took picture after picture after picture proceeded by giggles each time.
It was right then and there I wanted to kiss Vtech for giving me a piece of my sanity back.
We took the InnoTab 3 with us on the seven hour road trip and the only complaint that I heard was “Mom, you should have gotten two tablets.”
Videos were taken of the road trip, silly photos snapped away and music was played.
I did have to give time limits to each child and a lot of turn-taking was had, but I didn’t even care. They were occupied.
Then came the moving and the unpacking of the boxes situation.
And again I was so thankful for the VTech InnoTab 3 as a fun and educational toy for my children to use while I ran around the house with heavy boxes trying to get things in order.
While Cal, age 2, is a little young to understand how to use all of the features, he is able to maneuver the photo, video and music options with ease.
And Gwyn is able to do it all. I admit, I may have enjoyed using it with her as well.
The InnoTab 3 also has a movie maker feature, can download MP3’s, includes interactive storytelling and 2 GB of memory with an option to insert an SD card for more storage.
